Lilla Höggarn

Lilla Höggarn is an island belonging to Sweden in the Stockholm archipelago .

The uninhabited, undeveloped and forested island belongs to the municipality of Lidingö . To the northwest lies the island of Båtsmanshättan and to the northeast is Stora Höggarn . The passage from the Baltic Sea to Stockholm runs north and south of Lilla Höggarns . Lilla Höggarn extends from north to south over about 140 meters, with a width of up to 100 meters.

North of the island lies upright, at a depth of 22 to 40 meters, the wreck of the Harburg, which sank on February 16, 1957 . The ship, built in Rendsburg in 1919 , sank after a collision with the TM Tinny from Gothenburg . 10 people were killed in the accident.
