Lim Zoong-sun ( 림 중선 ; born July 16, 1943 ) is a former North Korean soccer player . Since his father was already active as a soccer player, Lim Zoong-sun also started this sport in his youth; In 1957 he became a professional player . With the national team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , he took part in the 1966 World Cup in England ; Lim Zoong-sun with the number “5” played all four games against the Soviet Union , Chile , Italy (each group stage) and Portugal (quarter-finals). In 1966 he was under contract with the Moranbong sports group . In addition, the defender was used in both World Cup qualifiers against Australia in 1965 .

Lim Zoong-sun starred in the documentary The Game of Their Lives in October 2002 .
