The Limba are an indigenous people in the West African Sierra Leone and (as of 2015) with more than 592,000 people make up 8.5 percent of the country's population. This makes them the third largest ethnic group . Only about 380,000 of them speak Limba as their mother tongue.

Their home is traditionally in the northern province , especially in the districts of Bombali , Koinadugu and Kambia .
