The Limfert is a 1 km long orographically right tributary of the Ruhr in the North Rhine-Westphalian Wiemeringhausen , Germany .

geography

The stream rises about 500 m west of the summit of the Beieck at an altitude of 585  m above sea level. NHN . From here the Limfert flows mainly in western directions. The stream, which is mostly piped in the lower section, flows out on the southern outskirts of Wiemeringhausen, a district of Olsberg , at 428  m above sea level. NHN in the Ruhr. With a height difference of 157 m, the mean bed slope is 157 ‰. The catchment area of around 80.5 hectares is drained to the North Sea via the Ruhr and Rhine .
