Lin Huiyin ( Chinese  林徽因 , Pinyin Lín Huīyīn , born June 10, 1904 in Minhou , Fujian Province , † April 1, 1955 ) was a Chinese architect and writer of the 20th century. She was the first well-known architect in China.

Lin Huiyin came from a wealthy family and received the best education possible for a woman in China. She also studied in Europe and America. Together with her husband Liang Sicheng , she designed the coat of arms of the People's Republic of China and built the Monument to the People's Heroes in Beijing on Tian'anmen Square (Gate of Heavenly Peace).
