Lina Geyer

Lina Geyer (born July 8, 1986 in Neuss ) is a German hockey player .

Lina Geyer started playing hockey at Schwarz-Weiß Neuss and has remained loyal to the club so far. With the Neussers she was A youth champion. She currently plays in the indoor league , outdoors the midfielder is active in the second division .

Since 2002 Lina Geyer has been part of the youth national teams of the German Hockey Association. In 2002 she became European champion with the U16 national team. In 2005 she became vice world champion with the U21 team, which then won the European championship in 2006. After these successes, Lina Geyer made her debut on New Year's Eve 2006 in the German national hockey team . In 2007 she took third place with the German team at the FIH Champions Trophy , and in 2008 she finished second.

Lina Geyer has completed 33 international matches, none of them indoors. (As of July 6, 2008)
