Life
Lina Maria Becker was the sister of Ernst Becker and Karl Albin Becker and was married to Emil Unfried , who were also active in the KPD. She joined the party in 1918 and lived in Hamburg . From 1924 to 1927 Becker belonged to the Hamburg parliament and was a member of the KPD parliamentary group. Then she moved to Berlin . Since Becker, like her brothers and her husband, was close to the right wing of the KPD and criticized the ultra-left course of the KPD leadership in the early 1930s, she withdrew from politics. Because of her husband's cinema ownership, she lived well-to-do in Bremen until her death in 1976. It no longer appeared politically.
