Lina Walther , born Henriette Karoline Friederike Möller , (born October 10, 1824 in Erfurt , † November 12, 1907 in Wernigerode ) was a German writer .

Life

She came from the Möller family, who had lived in Erfurt for centuries. Her father was the theologian Johann Friedrich Möller (1789–1861), who was among other things consistorial councilor to the Prussian government in Erfurt and from 1843 general superintendent and first preacher at Magdeburg Cathedral . Since she married Pastor Walther in 1855, she called herself Lina Walther. When her husband took over the pastoral position in Seehausen (Börde) near Magdeburg in 1857 , she moved there with him and was closer to her father again. She spent her old age with her husband, who died several years before her, in Wernigerode am Harz.

The theologian Wilhelm Ernst Möller was her brother.
