Linda Fagerström

Linda Fagerström (born March 17, 1977 in Upplands Väsby ) is a former Swedish football player. The midfielder played 97 international matches for the Swedish women's national team and was runner-up at the 2003 World Cup.

career

Fagerström began her career at Hammarby IF . In 2001 she moved to Djurgården / Älvsjös , the later Djurgården Damfotboll . She won the Swedish championship with the club in 2003 and 2004, before ending her active career at the end of the 2006 season and starting to work as a teacher.

In 1997 Fagerström made his debut in the Swedish national team. With the selection, she took part in the World Championships in 1999 and 2003. She was also part of the squad at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2001 European Championship . She scored seven goals in 97 international matches.
