Damallsvenskan 2006

The Damallsvenskan 2006 was the 19th season of the Damallsvenskan , the top division in Swedish women's football . The games took place between April 17 and October 29, 2006.

Umeå IK was able to successfully defend the title and became Swedish champion for the fifth time. During the season, the team remained undefeated. Lotta Schelin from Göteborg FC was “Skyttedrottningar” (top scorer) with 21 goals.

    For the 2007 season Djurgården / Älvsjö changed its name to Djurgården Damfotboll. The women's football department of Malmö FF set up under the name LdB FC Malmö.
