Damallsvenskan 2001

The Damallsvenskan 2001 was the 14th season of Damallsvenskan , the top division in Swedish women's football . The games took place between April 21 and October 27, 2001.

Umeå IK was able to successfully defend the championship title won for the first time last year. Victoria Svensson from Älvsjö AIK won the title of “Skyttedrottningar” (top scorer) with 34 goals this season. For the last time three teams relegated at the end of the season.
