The Damallsvenskan 1999 was the 12th season of Damallsvenskan , the top division in Swedish women's football . The games took place between April 17 and October 10, 1999. For the last time the champions were determined in a play-off round .

Älvsjö AIK became champion for the fifth time in a row and for the last time so far. The title of "Skyttedrottningar" (top scorer) went to Luiza Pendyk from Malmö FF with 29 goals scored.
