Damallsvenskan 2009

The Damallsvenskan 2009 was the 22nd season of the Damallsvenskan , the top division in the Swedish women's football . The games took place between March 25th and November 7th, 2008. In August and September the championship was interrupted because of the European championship .

Master was Linköpings FC , which won the Swedish championship for the first time. Sweden's Linnea Liljegärd from Kopparbergs / Göteborg FC became the top scorer with 22 goals this season. The relegation places occupied the two previous year's climbers Piteå IF and Stattena IF . Both teams will be replaced by Tyresö FF and Jitex BK .
