Linda Hayden

Linda Hayden (born January 19, 1953 in Stanmore , London ) is an English actress best known for her roles in British horror and sexploitation films of the 1970s.

Life

Linda Hayden attended Aida Foster School in London, where she learned to sing, dance and act before making her screen debut at the age of 15 in the controversial film Baby Love . She then starred in two horror films, both of which appeared in 1970. First as Alice Hargood in the hammer film How does the blood of Dracula taste with Christopher Lee , then as demon-possessed Angel Blake in In the Talons of the Witch Hunter .

In 1972, Hayden returned to the Baby Love director , Alastair Reid . The result was the thriller Something to Hide with Peter Finch . It was followed by other small roles in horror films, 1973 in The Night of a Thousand Eyes with Elizabeth Taylor and 1974 in The House of Horrors of Dr. Death with Vincent Price and Peter Cushing . In 1974 she also played in Vampira .

Together with her then boyfriend Robin Askwith , Linda Hayden played in 1974 and 1977 in the comedies Shirtless and Panties - The Window Cleaner (Confessions of a Window Cleaner) and Confessions from a Holiday Camp . She starred alongside Fiona Richmond in Let's Get Laid in 1978 . With her Hayden also appeared in the thriller Exposé from 1976, in the same year she played a role in Queen Kong .

With Askwith she also appeared in the farce Who Goes Bare at the theater.

After a small role in The Boys from Brazil , Hayden concentrated on roles in the theater and on television, for example she appeared in episodes of the series Die Profis und Hart but cordially, which are also known in Germany .

In 2009, Hayden played a role in the remake of the film Exposé , entitled Stalker , in which Jane March took Hayden's role from the original.

Linda Hayden is married to theater producer Paul Elliot and has two children. Her sister Jane Hayden was also active as an actress for a while.
