background
As a 15-year-old Linda Snoeij was discovered in a youth competition. After a few months, producer and manager Aad Klaris presented her the English-language title Talkin 'bout Rambo . With a jungle outfit and headband, the young woman, who had previously only sung in Dutch, presented the song and was able to reach the charts in Germany and the Netherlands. The “ one-hit wonder ” L-Vira was denied further success .
The "L" in her stage name stood for her real name, Linda.
In the early 1990s she was briefly a background singer with pop singer Marco Borsato and then tried her own songs as Linda Michelle , but they were unsuccessful. From 1996 she was a member of the women's vocal group Mrs. Einstein for four years and thus took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 in Dublin , in which only the third from last place was achieved. She stayed true to the background vocals and supported the pop singer Wolter Kroes with recordings and live performances.
