history

The property was probably built around 1700 by the ancestors of the Klopf family, who lived there for a long time until 1923. In 1923 it came into the possession of the Saal family.

Shortly before 1900, the originally single-storey house was increased by an upper floor. While the gable with its male figures forms the 17th / 18th centuries. Century, the simplified figuration of the upper floor points to the first half of the 19th century.

From 1950 to 1955 extensive structural measures were carried out, in which the basement was plastered, the roof was newly covered and the gate system and the fence in front of the house were renewed; Furthermore, the four sliding shutters on the south side of the house have been replaced with true-to-original duplicates. In 1955 the house Madonna, which had been in a wooden case on the gable, was removed and has been under lock and key ever since. The Madonna was carved around 1800 based on a baroque model and repainted with delicate colors in 1947 by a Würzburg artisan.
