The building Lindenstrasse on the corner of Oststrasse is a listed residential complex in the city of Hohenmölsen .

history

The building was planned by the architect Fritz Doelling. At that time he was employed by the Weißenfels district building authority. His tasks included the planning of communal buildings, including several apartment buildings. The building Lindenstrasse on the corner of Oststrasse in Hohenmölsen is his most striking building. The building was built in 1927.

The building complex is now a listed building and is entered in the local monument register as a monument under the number 094 87051.

The building is located on the corner of Lindenstrasse and Oststrasse in the town of Hohenmölsen. The building includes house number 4 on Lindenstrasse and house numbers 34, 35 and 36 on Oststrasse.

layout

The building is a multi-part residential complex. The complex is built in stages. The outer parts of the building are two-story, followed by a three-story middle section. The five-story corner tower is the most striking part of the residential complex. The facade is characterized by clinker reliefs. The design of the residential complex, especially the facade, was modeled on the Chilehaus in Hamburg .
