history

The place Sittendorf was first mentioned in a document from 1059-1072. Both Sittendorf and Lindeschu had to give the tithe to the Jechaburg . In the investiture of the Lords of Tütcherode with the Rothenburg was also determined that the residents of Kelbra, Sittendorf and Linde Schu had to reach the so-called Kitchen Family Dining. Nothing was reported about the desertification. In the Flegler War of 1412, the village, mentioned for the first time in 1128, was destroyed.
