The Lindt family originally comes from Windecken and was naturalized in Nidau in 1769 , in Bern in 1820 and belongs to the Middle Lions Society .

history

The Lindt family is one of the small number of families who acquired citizenship rights during the restoration period after the Bernese civil rights were opened in 1805 . Family members married members of the Brunner , Simon and Kohler families . Numerous doctors, pharmacists, reformed clergymen and entrepreneurs emerged from the Lindt family in the 19th and 20th centuries.
