The film Linie 41 documents the return of a survivor of the Lodz ghetto to today's Łódź. For years, Natan Grossmann had avoided exploring the fate of his brother Ber, who disappeared there in 1942. Now, after 70 years, a late search for his brother and traces of his parents who perished in the ghetto begins. His search crosses with that of the son of the city's former Nazi mayor, who is investigating a dark family secret here.
