Linnormen ( Norwegian for Lindworm ) are hills in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Payer group of Hoelfjella they extend in a south-west-north-east extent immediately east of Skavlhø . Among them is the Mount Dzhalil ' .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who also made the designation, mapped it using surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
