Lintgen ( Luxembourgish Lëntgen ) is a municipality in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and belongs to the canton of Mersch .
The municipality of Lintgen consists of the following localities:
- Gosseldingen ,
- Lintgen,
- Prettingen
as well as the Plankenhof.
The base of the Protection Civile, the Luxembourg civil protection, is located in Lintgen.
To the west, one kilometer from the town center, the Alzette flows .
