Fischbach ( Luxembourgish Fëschbech ) is a municipality in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is located in the canton of Mersch .
The neo-Gothic church is located at the highest point of the village and is a striking sight from a distance.
Above the village is a castle of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg , which was inhabited by Grand Duchess Charlotte and - after his abdication in 2000 - by her son Jean .
