The Linwood Peak is a 668 m high and isolated mountain in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . On the Hershey Ridge in the Ford Ranges , it looms 22 km west of Mount Ronne .
Participants in the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered and mapped it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Linwood Thomas Miller (1893-1963), sailmaker for the second Antarctic expedition (1933-1935) of the American polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
