Lion Babe are an American neo-soul - Duo , which at Interscope Records under contract.
history
Lion Babe consists of the singer Jillian Hervey and the producer Lucas Goodman, who previously worked under the stage name Astro Raw. Jillian Hervey is the daughter of the American singer and actress Vanessa Lynn Williams . The first song they made together was Treat Me Like Fire which was uploaded to Soundcloud in November 2012 . The duo then signed a record deal with Interscope Records . In December 2014, the self-titled debut EP Lion Babe was released . Her subsequent single Wonder Woman was produced by Pharrell Williams .
As a guest musician, Lion Babe released the single Hourglass with Disclosure , which reached number 80 in the UK charts. Lion Babe performed at the Apple Music Festival in London on September 25, 2015 .
Lion Babe covered the Tom Jones classic She's a Lady for a commercial for H & M's fall campaign in 2016 .
