Lionel Glendenning

Lionel Glendenning (* 1941 ) is an Australian architect .

Glendenning received the Byera Hadley Traveling Scolarships in 1967. For a time he was the leading architect in the government of New South Wales and created numerous public buildings, often including previous buildings, including the Claymore Primary School in Sydney in 1980 , the Powerhouse Museum there in 1988 and the Imax Theater in Darling Harbor , Sydney in 1996 . The Powerhouse Museum was awarded the RAIA Sulman Price for Architecture in 1988.

One of the structures for individuals and companies that Glendenning created is the De Iuliis wine shop in Pokolbin.
