Liping ( Chinese  黎平 县 , Pinyin Lípíng Xiàn ) is a Chinese district of the Qiandongnan Autonomous District of the Miao and Dong in the southeast of Guizhou Province . It has an area of ​​4,439 km² and has 490,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Defeng (德 凤 镇).

The "Wind and Rain Bridge" in Diping Village (Diping fengyu qiao 地 坪 风雨桥) and the site of the Liping Conference (Liping huiyi huizhi 黎平 会议 会址) in December 1934 have been on the list of monuments since 2001 and 2006, respectively People's Republic of China . In July 2004, the 121-year-old bridge was destroyed in a flood.
