Lisa A. Barnett
Lisa Anne Barnett (born 1958 in Dorchester , Massachusetts , † May 2, 2006 in Portsmouth , New Hampshire ) was an American writer . She died of a brain tumor at the age of 48.
Lisa Anne Barnett studied English and theater studies at the University of Massachusetts in Boston and worked as an editor from 1988.
She and her partner Melissa Scott received three awards for the following works: The Armor of Light (1988), Point of Hopes (1995) and Point of Dreams (2001). Barnett wrote her works in the fantasy and science fiction genre.
