Lisa Shaw (gospel singer)

Lisa Shaw (* before 1997 in London ) is a British gospel singer .

Life

Lisa Shaw was born as the daughter of Jamaican immigrants in England and initially worked in the London music scene as a studio musician and arranger , performed live in the opening act for Frank Nimsgern and Christoph Spendel and gave concerts with Pete York, among others . After moving to Germany, she released her solo debut Peace - Be Still in 1997 for the Christian music label Felsenfest . The following year, the concept album It's Gospel Time, produced by Jochen Rieger , was released by Schulte & Gerth , a joint project with gospel singers Dwight Robson , David Thomas and Roy Johnson . Since then, Lisa Shaw has worked with other music producers in the scene such as Danny Plett , Johannes Nitsch , Helmut Jost and Michael Gundlach .

Lisa Shaw is mother to one son.
