Lisa Stoll (* 1996 ) is a Swiss alphorn soloist from Wilchingen in the canton of Schaffhausen .

Life

Her fondness for musical instruments, especially wind instruments , began at the age of six when Lisa Stoll began playing the recorder . Two years later the cornet was added before she turned to the alphorn at the age of ten.

Lisa Stoll celebrated her first success in September 2007 at the Eastern Switzerland Soloists and Ensemble Competition in Sirnach, where she emerged as the winner in her category with the cornet. In 2008 she achieved fifth place as the youngest participant in the same competition in the U-16 soloist category, again with the cornet.

After Lisa Stoll qualified with the alphorn for the national final of the 15th Swiss Young Musicians Competition in April 2008, she took part in the national final in June of the same year as part of the Federal Yodelling Festival and was one of the five winners in the folk music category the final of the Swiss young yodelers and young musicians competition. In doing so, she and the other finalists secured a joint CD production under the direction of Alex Eugster . At the final of the Swiss Young Musicians' Competition, which took place in Friborg on August 30, 2008, Lisa Stoll won the jury award with her own composition.

Lisa Stoll celebrated her first major television appearance in February 2009 with her appearance on the folk music program “Hopp de Bäse!” On Swiss television . Less than two weeks later, Kurt Aeschbacher's talk show made another appearance on Swiss television. This was followed by numerous stage appearances and various other television appearances on a national and international level, including again in “Hopp de Bäse!” And Aeschbacher's special program “Menschen 09” as well as in Benissimo and Musikantenstadl .

After Lisa Stoll qualified for the finals for Switzerland in the Musikantenstadl junior competition in September 2009, she won the Stadlstern 2009 at the Silvesterstadl in December 2009 with the "Dance of the Cows" (composer: Carlo Brunner ). In December 2009, her debut album , “Alphorn-Liebe”, was released , which subsequently also hit the Swiss charts .
