Lisa Westcott
Lisa Westcott is a British makeup artist and hairdresser who has been nominated three times for an Oscar and received it in 2013 for Les Misérables . In addition, she received five out of eight possible BAFTA awards for her craft.
Career
Lisa Westcott started out as a makeup artist for television series . In 1994 she was hired for a movie for the first time to do the make-up and hairstyles for the British tragic comedy King George . For her performance in this film, she received a BAFTA Award for best make-up and hair design. For her work on the mask for Her Majesty Mrs. Brown , Westcott received her first Oscar nomination for Best Make-up in 1998 . A year later she was nominated a second time, this time for her work in Shakespeare in Love . Westcott's last nomination for an Academy Award was in 2013 with Julie Dartnell for Les Misérables , which they also won. Both received a BAFTA award in the same category .
