Lisbet Lundquist (born March 25, 1943 in Hellerup ) is a Danish film and theater actress .

Career

Lisbeth Lundquist is the daughter of the Danish professor Frank Lundquist († 2008) and his wife Ida Lundquist († 1984). In the late 1960s, she worked as a nude model to finance her studies at the University of Copenhagen . She was turned down for further acting training at Statens Teaterskole (State Theater Academy ) because she was ten days too old.

Lundquist finally took up training at ABC Teatret and made her debut there in 1970 as a stage actress. Since then she has also worked at the Gladsaxe Teater . She starred in many different Danish films and TV series . She was first known to the Danish and German audiences through the Danish film adaptation of Henry Miller's novel Stille Tage in Clichy in 1970, in which she played one of the leading roles.

Lisbet Lundquist was married to actor Peter Steen from 1970 to 1975, her second marriage to actor Eddie Skoller from 1983 to 1990 , and since 1993 she has been married to actor Søren Østergaard .
