Peter Steen
Peter Steen (born January 22, 1936 in Randers , Denmark , † February 7, 2013 in Listed near Svaneke on Bornholm ) was a Danish actor . He starred in more than 35 films since 1964, including some parts of the Olsen Gang .
Life
Peter Steen was a Danish actor and director. From 1960 he attended the drama school of the Royal Theater Det kongelige Teater elevskole after studying medicine . He has directed numerous plays, including at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen and has also appeared in Rialto Teatret , Folketeatret and Odense Teater . He has also been seen as an actor in a number of films, including films by the Olsen Gang.
Private
Steen married the artisan and fashion designer Kim Naver in 1964 and had two sons, Morten Steen (1964) and Rasmussen Steen (1969). The marriage was divorced in 1970 and then he was married from 1970 to 1975 with the actress Lisbet Lundquist and since 1981 with the Inuit etymologist and author Karen Nørregaard . Steen last lived secluded in Listed near Svaneke on Bornholm and suffered from Alzheimer's disease for the last few years of his life . On February 16, 2013 he was buried in the cemetery of Svaneke Kirke (Svaneke Church) in Svaneke on Bornholm.
