Rend mig i revolutionen (in German My failed revolution ) is a Danish film from 1970. The episodes of the later crime series Private Detective Anthonsen are based on the successful Danish film Rend mig i revolutionen . In contrast to the television series Anthonsen, this film was not shown in the GDR or in German-speaking countries.
action
The humble private detective Anthonsen (Ove Sprogøe) is mainly engaged in spying on unfaithful husbands and wives. One day he unintentionally witnesses a murder as a result. The barmaid Eva (Helle Hertz) from the "Club 8 1/2" is related to this murder and various circles around the ousted President Jesus Maria Salvadore (Poul Bundgaard) of the (fictional or Guatemala- based) Republic of Guateragua. The former president of the republic secretly wants to buy weapons in Denmark in order to reinstate power. Soon the Danish secret service and the US secret service CIA are also involved in the matter. Anthonsen, who usually suffers from a lack of detective assignments, suddenly has a lot to do.
