Jesper Langberg

Jesper Langberg (born October 20, 1940 in Frederiksberg ; † June 29, 2019 ) was a Danish actor .

Career

Langberg's father Sigurd Langberg and his older brother Ebbe Langberg were also actors. From 1962 to 1965 Jesper Langberg attended the drama school of the Royal Theater ( Det Kongelige Teaters Elevskole ), where he was then engaged for more than 20 years until 1987. He then performed on many different stages.

Langberg also worked for film and television from the start. He was seen in some of the Olsen Gang films; In The Olsen Gang and their big coup he took on the role of detective assistant Mortensen , who had previously been played twice by Peter Steen . Langberg played Kristen Skjern in the popular television series Matador . He was awarded the Bodil three times : in 1968 for Best Actor in Sådan er de alle and in 1994 as Best Supporting Actor in Det forsønte forår and in 2014 for his life's work.

On the occasion of his 50th stage anniversary, he announced his departure from acting in early 2013. In the same year he published his autobiography Ikke et secondary spildt .
