Paul Hagen (born March 19, 1920 in Copenhagen , † May 19, 2003 in Langø ) was a Danish actor . He is sometimes referred to as Poul Hagen in credits.

Life

His father Åge Falck Rasmussen was a painter, his mother Anna Hagen was an opera singer. From 1944 to 1945 he was trained as an actor at the Frederiksberg Theater School. Until 1951 he worked at the Aarhus Theater. Until 1998 he worked at various venues such as the Nørrebro Theater, ABC Theater, Frederiksberg Theater, Det Ny Teater, Volkstheater and the Royal Theater. He made his film debut in 1952 in the film Kærlighedsdoctors . Paul Hagen acted in 118 films. He was first married to Asta Esper Andersen, from the marriage the son Esper emerged. On December 7, 1960, he married Gurli Flindt. From 1992 until his death he lived on Langø near Nakskov together with the ballet teacher Alice Martens.

His role as animal dealer Clausen in the TV series Oh, these tenants ! known.

Paul Hagen was buried on Langø Kirkegård in the Langø part of the town of Nakskov on the island of Lolland .
