action

The newly appointed Danish Defense Minister from the military has no idea what politics entails. Therefore, for reasons of information, he follows the position order that has been sent to him and his clumsiness soon becomes a horror for the trainers. After all, he becomes a guy with the major because everyone pushes the clumsy on to the other. Only as a passionate rocket builder does he succeed and show courage. In the end he wins the major's daughter as his wife.

criticism

The Protestant film observer judges: “The innocent stupidities are served so stupidly that yawning boredom soon spreads. Almost inedible! ”The lexicon of the international film takes a not much better opinion :“ Danish military grotesque: slapstick according to a familiar pattern. ”
