Ghita Nørby (born January 11, 1935 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish actress . Today she is one of the busiest and most honored film actresses in her country.

Career

Nørby's parents were the opera singer Einar Nørby and the pianist Guldborg Laursen . She made her debut in 1954 at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen, where she attended drama school ( Det Kongelige Teaters elevskole ) for two years and was then engaged until 1959. After that she played from 1959 to 1962 at the Allé-Scenen and in the following years at many other theaters in Copenhagen.

Ghita Nørby made her film debut in 1956 in Hungary . She lived with him in Turin from 1964 to 1969 ; the marriage resulted in a son, the director Giacomo Campeotto . Her fourth husband was the actor Jørgen Reenberg from 1970 to 1978 .
