Dario Campeotto

Dario Campeotto (born February 1, 1939 in Frederiksberg ) is a Danish singer , actor and entertainer .

As a child of Italian parents, he sang at a young age. His breakthrough was winning the 1961 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the hit Angelique . At the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson in Cannes in 1961 , he achieved fifth place. In the 1960s he appeared in a number of Danish music films. Later he could be seen in the theater and on the operetta stage.
