Leonora (actually Leonora Colmor Jepsen , born October 3, 1998 in Hellerup ) is a Danish singer and figure skater .
Life
Born and raised in Hellerup, where she still lives today, Leonora also graduated from Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium there. She likes to write songs, which she then presents in cafes, libraries and at small school concerts.
As a figure skater, she took part in the 2016 Junior World Figure Skating Championships and the 2015 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Riga. In December 2016, she and her brother Linus won gold medals at the Danish national figure skating competition Danske Mesterskaber . Today she is no longer active as a figure skater, but as a figure skating trainer and choreographer.
In 2019 she took part as a singer at the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2019 . Her song Love Is Forever was written by Lise Cabble , Melanie Wehbe and Emil Lei and is sung in four different languages, English , French , Danish and German . In the end she was able to reach the superfinal and win the preliminary decision there with 42%. She represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv , Israel . She was able to qualify for the final and reached twelfth place there.
