Hot eyes

Hot Eyes is the international name of the Danish singing duo Kirsten & Søren . The group consists of Kirsten Siggaard (born  September 7, 1954 in Slagelse ) and Søren Bundgaard (born March 4, 1956 in Glostrup ).

As early as 1983, the two artists took part in the Danish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest , the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix . Bundgaard still as a musician in the band Sir Henry , which Siggard accompanied as a solo singer. Afterwards they decided to start a duo. In 1984 they won the preliminary round with the title Det 'lige det and were thus allowed to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 in Luxembourg . They reached fourth place out of 19 participants. The next year they repeatedly won the preliminary round and were able to perform at the 1985 Eurovision Song Contest in Gothenburg with their pop song Sku 'du spørg' fra no'en? start, but only took eleventh place out of 19. 1986 and 1987 they were in the preselection, but could not win. In 1988 they won the pre-selection for a third time and were invited to the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin . Here they reached 3rd place out of 21, the best result in Denmark for 25 years with the title Ka 'du se, hva' jeg sa '? .
