Bjørn Tidmand

Bjørn Tidmand (born January 24, 1940 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish pop singer .

From an early age Tidmand sang in a youth choir, later he performed in Danish clubs and nightspots. His participation in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix in 1963 ended with second place. A year later he was able to go away as the winner in this competition. Therefore he was allowed to compete in the Grand Prix Eurovision 1964 in his hometown. With the hit Sangen om dig , he reached ninth place.

Tidmand remained musically active for a long time.
