Rollo & King is a Danish pop group consisting of Søren Poppe and Stefan Nielsen .

Career

During their studies, the two young academics met and formed a music group. They won the Danish preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest , the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the self-composed country track Der står et billede af dig på mit bord . Together with the singer Signe Svendsen they were titled in English as Never ever let you go (dt .: you never let go ) and reached the Euro Vision Song Contest 2001 second place.

The band name is humorous: Rollo and King are the most frequently used dog names in Denmark.
