Aud Wilken

Aud Wilken (* 1965 in East Berlin ) is a Danish singer .

As the child of a German mother and a Danish father, Aud Wilken lived in the GDR until 1974 when the family moved to Denmark. She had her first album release in 1988 with the Danish techno project The Overlords . She took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 with the sparingly orchestrated pop song Fra Mols til Skagen (German: From Mols to Skagen ) and reached 5th place.

In 1999 she released her only solo album to date: Diamonds in the Rough .

In 2007 she took part in the Dansk melodi grand prix , the Danish ESC preliminary decision with the title Husker du , but could not qualify for the final.

In 2013 she released the single Knowing That It's There .
