Content

The song was composed by Lise Cabble , Melanie Wehbe and Emil Lei. Cabble was also responsible for two other titles in the same Grand Prix year.

A noticeable feature of the composition is the pizzicato , which is played through to the end . The first two stanzas and choruses are sung entirely in English . The third verse is sung entirely in French . In the first pre-chorus, the first verse is sung in Danish , the second in English and the third in German . The second pre-chorus is again Danish. The first part of the chorus in French is repeated once in its entirety, with the second part being sung again in English at the end.
Since 1997, part of the Danish contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest has been sung in the local language.

She was accompanied by four instead of two dancers as originally. The country qualified for the final and reached twelfth place with 120 points.

reception

The fan blog Wiwibloggs described Love Is Forever as a sweet and simple song, but noted that it might not stay in the audience's memory. ESCXtra praised the multilingualism of the title and compared it with the German Grand Prix winning titles A Little Peace and Satellite .
