Katrin Bederna

Katrin Bederna (* 1968 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian.

Life

From 1988 to 1994 she studied Catholic theology, mathematics and philosophy at the University of Münster , the Pontificia Università Gregoriana and the TU Braunschweig . In 1994 she obtained her first state examination for teaching posts for secondary schools (Catholic theology and mathematics) in Münster , in 1994 she received her doctorate as a licentiate in theology from the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster, and in 1996 she took an additional teaching degree Grammar schools in philosophy ( Braunschweig ), second state examination in 1997 for teaching at grammar schools in the state of Lower Saxony and doctorate in theology in 2004 from the Catholic Theological Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster ( Klaus Müller ). From 1995 to 1997 she was a trainee teacher at the Braunschweig II study seminar for teaching at grammar schools. From 1997 to 2004 she was a school teacher or Oberstudienrätin on Gustav-Heinemann-School in Dinslaken for Catholic Theology, mathematics and philosophy, training coordinator for the clerkship. From 2004 to 2015 she taught as a junior professor or substitute professor for Catholic theology / religious education at the Ludwigsburg University of Education. Since October 2015 she has been teaching as a professor for Catholic theology / religious education at the PH Ludwigsburg . Since November 2016 she has been the Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences at the Ludwigsburg University of Education .

Her main research interests are religious education for sustainable development, anthropology and mystical theology.
