Christoph Knoblauch

Christoph Knoblauch (* 1980 ) is Professor of Religious Education.

Life

From 2001 to 2006 he studied at the University of Tübingen and California State University, Los Angeles in the subjects of Catholic theology, English and sports science ( state examination ). In 2005 he was an assistant teacher at Chelmsford County High School. After graduation (2007-2010) in Tübingen he was from 2010 to 2011 teacher at the Kepler-Gymnasium Reutlingen . From 2011 to 2016 he taught as a junior professor for religious education and early childhood education at the PH Freiburg . In 2012/2014/2016 he was visiting professor at York University . In 2015 he was visiting professor at Stetson University . From 2016 to 2018 he headed the early education department at KIBOR. After completing his habilitation in 2018 at the University of Tübingen, he was visiting professor at the Ambedkar University Delhi . Since 2018 he has been teaching as professor for religious education at the PH Ludwigsburg .

His work focuses on the acquisition of religious and interreligious skills, interreligious education (religious instruction and early education), cultural and religious diversity in educational contexts, basic questions of educational philosophy, religion-sensitive education and international perspectives in religious education.
