List of Chandigarh administrators
The following table lists the administrators of Chandigarh on with respective tenure. When Haryana split off from the state of Punjab on November 1, 1966, Chandigarh became the joint capital of both states and has since been administered as a union territory of the Indian Union. Chandigarh was headed by a Chief Commissioner until May 1985, and the administration of the Punjab Governor has been the administrator .
