The list of mayors of Sondershausen lists the mayors of the German district town of Sondershausen in Thuringia since the 16th century in chronological order, but in some cases incompletely . Acting mayor of the city has been Steffen Grimm since 2018 .
The official seat of the mayor is the town hall from the 16th century (previous building around 1300) on the market square in the center of the town and opposite the former royal palace of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen and the district office of the Kyffhäuserkreis , the former "Prinzenpalais".
During the often longer vacancy times between 1920 and 1921, the second mayor, Otto Burkhardt, ran all of the city's business.
