Wilhelm Georg Weber

Wilhelm Georg Weber (born July 24, 1883 in Darmstadt , † October 12, 1952 in Münster ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a grand ducal expeditor, Weber studied law and economics in Heidelberg and Giessen after attending grammar school in Darmstadt . During his studies he became a member of the Germania Gießen fraternity in 1901 . After his exams in 1906 and 1910 he became a government assessor in the Grand Ducal Hessian Ministry of the Interior in Darmstadt and then worked as a magistrate assessor in Höchst am Main until 1912 . From 1912 to 1913 he was head of the insurance office for the city of Coburg . In 1912 he was elected mayor in Oberstein an der Nahe and in 1915 in Sondershausen . From 1916 to 1919 he was a member of the Schwarzburg special houses state parliament . In 1917 he received the title of Lord Mayor . In 1920, he became acting head of the tax office Hanau , shortly thereafter as a Government which appointed superintendent. From 1920 to 1934 he was head of the tax office in Frankfurt am Main II. In 1922 he became a senior councilor . From 1934 to 1946 he was government director at the regional finance president of Westphalia and the regional finance office in Münster . There he temporarily headed the tax department in 1945 and in 1946 became finance president and head of the department for property and traffic taxes at the regional tax office in Münster. In 1950 he retired.
